Sewing & Dressmaking

Course Summary: The SBAOA Sewing & Dressmaking Course is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become proficient in sewing and dressmaking. The course covers various topics, including fabric selection, pattern making, cutting and sewing techniques, and finishing details. Students will also learn about the different types of sewing machines and their uses, as well as how to troubleshoot common sewing problems.

Tuition Details: The regular price for the course is $2100.00, but students who enroll on time can take advantage of a $300 discount, bringing the cost down to $1800.00. Students can also choose to pay in monthly installments of $150. 

Welfare Work Plan Activities: Welfare Work Plan Activities. Please note that SBAOA is not liable for any program of your attendance. The tuition fees for the program are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for hours for welfare work plan activities. It is the responsibility of the students to contact their case manager to determine eligibility and make arrangements for using these hours. Please keep in mind that SBAOA is not responsible for tracking these hours or including them in the monthly report. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that they are meeting the requirements of the program.

Class Schedule: Classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am-5 pm, on campus.

Attendance Policy: Attendance is mandatory for all classes. Students who miss more than two classes may be required to retake the course or may not be eligible for the program waiver. In the event of an emergency or illness, students should contact the instructor as soon as possible to make arrangements for makeup work.
